Merakey offers a range of services in adult behavioral health, which includes mental health and/or addiction recovery services. We provide services both in the community and at Merakey locations, offering treatment and support that focuses on recovery.
Chris doesn’t let life challenges get in the way of achieving his goals!
Newly independent after graduating from Merakey’s Intensive Transition Services program for adults with dual diagnosis, Chris has made our team proud and is ready for anything.
The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) offers support to adults who have both a serious mental illness and a developmental disability. Individuals receive counseling, physical healthcare, support finding housing, assistance during crises, and help dealing with other issues in their everyday lives.
Merakey’s Mobile Competency Restoration Team (MCRT) is a psychoeducational program that works with individuals who are considered Incompetent to Stand Trial. MRCT uses a variety of assessments and learning tools to develop plans that address and restore competency deficiencies, such as understanding court proceedings, behavior expectations, and communicating with attorneys. MCRT is an outpatient service available in the following Pennsylvania counties: Butler, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Crawford, Washington, Westmoreland, Armstrong, and Indiana.
Enhanced Care Management (ECM), established by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) in California, is a community-based program that provides a whole-person approach to care that addresses the clinical and non-clinical needs of individuals enrolled in a Medi-Cal managed care. Individuals enrolled in ECM receive outreach and engagement, a comprehensive assessment and care management plan, enhanced care coordination, health promotion, comprehensive transitional care, individual and family supports, and coordination of and referral to community and social support services.
The New Connections Team supports adults 18 and older who are diagnosed with both behavioral and physical health challenges.
