Leah Pason is currently the Chief Workforce Enablement Officer leading the Office of Workforce Enablement and bringing together Human Resources, workforce technology, culture and change management, project support, and innovation to create a more connected, modern, and employee-centered workplace.

Prior to her current position, Leah served as Chief People Officer and led Merakey and the Human Resources team to create a culture that positioned Merakey as an Employer of Choice through the development of innovative talent acquisition strategies and initiatives that supported employee development, retention, and engagement. Leah also held the position of Chief Strategy Officer, and led the strategy development and execution, innovation, business development, communications and project and policy management for the organization. Her other previous positions include Executive Vice President of Corporate Administration, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Policy and Vice President of Quality Improvement.

During her tenure with Merakey, Leah has been involved in all aspects of building the organization’s strategy and managing strategy execution. She has experience in Compliance and QI program development, implementation and monitoring, as well as managing accreditation initiatives. For nearly three decades, she has been involved in a wide variety of organizational initiatives to realize strategic and business goals, including systems implementations, leadership development, and organizational/process redesign to optimize resources and increase efficiency.

Leah holds a master’s in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University.
