Merakey Delaware County, PA Did the Merakey Virtual 5K Their Way!

On May 5, the Delco Avengers gathered in the backyard of one of their homes for a socially distanced afternoon of fun, food, and games as part of Merakey’s Virtual 5K. Each participant sported a Marvel Avengers character t-shirt. They enjoyed fresh fruit smoothies, pizza, salad, wawa hoagies, and more. There was music, dancing, and lots of walking. Many enjoyed friendly games of cornhole, bowling, bean bag Tic Tac Toe, beach ball toss, and more.

Delco SWATT also participated in the Merakey 5K. They had an amazing time all working together to achieve their physical health goals, while fundraising for a great cause. The group is exploring ideas about how they can continue their efforts. They also won for “most creative activity!” Go Delco!
