The Merakey IDD Delaware team and Merakey IDD Safer Homes team joined our Recruiting, Nursing, and Clinical teams for a day of group activities. They celebrated the greater team’s growth with a day of relationship-building hosted by State Director Tracy Vazquez. Participants were assigned to teams with staff from other departments so that new work relationships could be formed. The teams were tasked with solving a series of mysteries together and encouraged to have fun along the way. The mysteries were set to an 80s theme, so participants all dressed up in their 80s best to further add to the fun. The event was an effective and enjoyable way for staff to connect with the extended members of their Merakey family.
