On October 23, the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh held their 28th Annual Pittsburgh Buddy Walk, which they consider a family reunion of sorts. This year, Merakey had the pleasure of participating with consumers Adam F. and Christopher B. from Allegheny County.
The Buddy Walk was held from 11am - 4pm in Schenley Park, with lots of activities before and after the actual walk. Adam and Christopher were able to meet and pose with Spiderman, the Pittsburgh Perogies, the Pittsburgh Pirate Parrot, and more! We hope to attend the event with even more of our consumers next year!
