In honor of Black History Month and Women’s History Month, members of Merakey’s Delaware County Blended Case Management Team started a Women’s African American Book Club titled “Brown Girls Read”. Their first book entitled “Feeding the Soul” by African American Author, Tabitha Brown, is helping the participants on their journey to find love, joy, and freedom. The club aspires to start a community organization and inspire young black girls to read. They also hope that their story and new venture inspires coworkers to read a new book. Leaders are readers!
