Hilary from Merakey Lehigh was recently a part of the Special Olympics USA Games 2022 in Florida. She and the rest of the Pennsylvania softball team started their bronze medal match against the Florida Team at 11:30am, but the game would end up taking all day! After enduring a 7-hour rain delay, AND trailing by 3 twice in the game, they had a spectacular comeback and secured the bronze medal. Hilary and her teammates enjoyed their week in Florida, spending a full 7 days playing softball. Well done, Hilary!
