Jeremiah, a Merakey participant in Westmoreland County, PA, has taken on a very special task this season. He started volunteering at the Westmoreland Meals on Wheels in November, and he absolutely loves making his deliveries. Jeremiah took this on as part of his community participation goals, and he has greatly enjoyed being involved with Meals on Wheels. Merakey team supervisor Melynda Malloy and staff member Shelly Jordan (pictured) are both enthusiastic advocates for Jeremiah and have been instrumental in making this community connection.
