Over the past few weeks, staff from Merakey Parkside Recovery in Philadelphia have been busy participating in various events in the community. Thank you, Merakey Parkside Recovery, for raising awareness about our services and for giving back to the community!
On July 23rd, Clinical Services Coordinator Tyrone Frazier provided information and resources about Merakey’s services at the Bountiful Food Minitru Community Event.
On July 28th, Regional Director Lori Gabert and Clinical Director Heather Walton attended the Business Association of West Parkside General Meeting and made a donation to District 19's initiative to encourage children in the community to learn science.
On August 2nd, multiple staff members attended National Night Out in West Philadelphia, completing Mental Health Screenings and providing Merakey information. Merakey staff member and published author, Marcella Norman, was also able to promote her book "Mental Health, What's That?" at the event.
