Congratulations to the Merakey IT team for winning the 2022 DVHIMSS Hall of Fame Award, recognizing outstanding technological achievements that benefit consumers and patients! Merakey IT won the award for developing a mobile application to capture consumer signatures. The mobile application securely sends consumers their encounter form that can be accessed through a link via email or text message. Once the consumer views the form and confirms that the services were provided with their signature, the signature is then written back into the EHR and linked to the progress note. This new streamlined process reduces the time required to complete an encounter and get a bill out to the payor.
Bob McEldowney, Senior Director of Application Development and Data Analytics, attended the DVHIMMS conference in October to accept the award on behalf of Merakey.
Congratulations to members of the IT team who worked on this project: Ed Witchey, Bob McEldowney, Minu Naik, Dana Luce, Tyler Allem, Stefanie Cost, Roe Guirate, David Tao, and Bob Sowers.
