Congratulations to Cammie Dickerson and Roni Erath on their recent appointments to Senior Regional Executive Directors in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Division!
Cammie Dickerson has always been a tremendous advocate for people with disabilities and a respected mentor to her colleagues. She joined Merakey in 2003 as a Regional Director in Philadelphia, bringing many years of direct support, managerial, and training experience. As Senior Regional Executive Director, Cammie has responsibility for our IDD programs in the Commonwealth of Virginia and in Pennsylvania Counties of Chester and Delaware. With nearly 19 years of service at Merakey, Cammie’s oversight and experience will better position us to grow our IDD Services in Virginia and nearby states.
Roni Erath has been committed to the individuals supported and has developed positive relationships with all stakeholders throughout her 38-year career at Merakey Allegheny Valley School. Roni began as a Direct Support Professional on the Pittsburgh Campus at Allegheny Valley School, and most recently was the Assistant Regional Executive Director for Merakey AVS in Western Pennsylvania. Roni has since obtained her NADD certification as a Dual Diagnosis Specialist (NADD-DDS), giving her additional tools and resources to use in her new role. Roni continues to be an integral part of Merakey’s strategic planning activities and an active participant in many volunteer activities supporting people with disabilities.
The Merakey family wishes both Cammie and Roni the best of luck in their new positions!
