“April showers bring May flowers” is not just a saying at the Education and Autism Center in Harrisburg. The students and staff all took the time to recognize Mental Health Awareness last month through a special art project – a handmade flowerpot displayed on the wall to include encouraging and uplifting words written on each flower petal. The project was a lot of fun and the students were happy to see their flowerpot “bloom” words of encouragement to help others stay positive.
