Genny and Susan cheered on the Pittsburgh Pirates during a recent baseball game at PNC Park.
The guys and staff from Windy Ghoul home at Merakey AVS spent a sunny day at Hopewell Community Park. They went fishing, fed the ducks, and had a yummy picnic lunch.
Kregg, Jimmy, Jonathan, and Keith from Merakey AVS Wildwood home recently visited the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium along with staff members Christian, Brandon, and Jamie. A great time was had by all!
Dawn recently helped to plant flowers at the gazebo on Merakey AVS’s Pittsburgh Campus. Her family donated the beautiful outdoor area several years ago, and they gather in the spring to tend to the grounds and keep it looking beautiful.
Individuals from the Food Prep area at Edward J. Zapp Center are caring for tomato plants at the Coraopolis Food Bank Community Garden. They take time to plant, weed, and water the plants regularly. Raising the tomatoes from small seedlings to full sized plants help the individuals see growth in the world around them as well as in themselves.
