While several residents sent their ballots by mail, Roni, Christine, and Mark all exercised their right to vote at the polls on Election Day. They were accompanied by Assistant House Manager Blake Casto.
The ladies from Green Garden home at Merakey AVS enjoyed an outing to Jurassic Wonder at the Hookstown Fairgrounds. They loved seeing all the dinosaurs!
Liz, an individual receiving supports from Merakey AVS, has been a part of New Hire Orientation for the past four years at the M/AVS Kennedy Center. She recently connected with new employee Aleisha Crawley who shared an interest in leaving rubber ducks for Jeep owners. Aleisha was so impressed with Liz’s presentation during orientation that she gave her a special gift.
Kregg, James, Jonathan, and Keith from Wildwood home, along with staff members Jamie, Christian, and Jessica, recently visited the Museum of Illusions in Pittsburgh.
Miss Karen from Merakey Penn Hills Day Program went to the local Petland to visit the puppies. She really enjoyed interacting with them. One of the puppies kept playing on the other side of the glass with Miss Karen by chasing her wheelchair up and down the hallway.
