Merakey Individuals and Direct Support Professionals from 21 different Merakey AVS East Group Homes and the Verree Road Facility participated in a “Fun Day” at the new Philadelphia Program Center. To maintain social distancing and in accordance with safety guidelines, the event occurred over two separate days in late August. The celebratory event included music, arts and crafts, and games, which were accompanied by plenty of laughs, smiles, and cheers! As a participation gift, all the individuals were able to take home their self-made sensory bottles. Thank you to everyone - staff and dedicated volunteers - who made this day possible.
