Merakey Education Center in Mt. Pleasant had a special visitor last week. Everyone was so excited when Santa arrived at the Christmas party for the students! Gifts were given to each child that were generously donated from Merakey employees and community members.
The artwork featured in the background of the photos was created by students through an art program with the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. An art teacher has been conducting weekly art lessons with our students through an outreach program. It was a wonderful day all around!
