Last month, individuals and staff from the Merakey AVS Philadelphia Intermediate Care Facility program came together for the first time in two years to celebrate the 3rd Annual Friendsgiving Luncheon. The individuals and staff enjoyed a delicious meal, took photographs, danced to music, and socialized with friends from other locations. The day ended with a staff appreciation and all individuals and employees left with a beautiful Friendsgiving gift! The event was a huge success and the joy shined through the laughs, smiles, and words of the individuals. "This was fun, I really enjoyed myself,” stated one individual from the South 5th home.
