Wendy is a member of the Greater McKees Rocks 15136 Rotary Club and recently volunteered at their annual Toast of the Rox French Toast Breakfast fundraiser. We love to see our individuals show an interest in clubs and activities!
With warmer temperatures and sunny days, we’re able to spend more time outside doing fun activities. The crew from Zapp Center recently started a project with lots of room to grow – by planting their spring vegetable garden.
Miracle League baseball started this week at the Cranberry, PA field. Five Merakey AVS homes took to the field for an exciting night. The groups started by singing the Star-Spangled Banner and listening to their names being announced over the loudspeaker. They played a few innings of baseball and then all joined together for Take Me Out to the Ball Game. The teams were all looking great, sporting their new jerseys and hats. The groups had a lot of fun and are looking forward to their weekly games.
