Autumn, an individual in Merakey’s Susquehanna Center IDD program received a Self-Advocate Award from the Arc Susquehanna Valley on June 6. The Arc is a community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. Autumn was nominated for the improvements she has made in the two years since coming to Merakey’s residential services and being out and about in her community.
