The Merakey Foundation is proud to support seven projects within the Adult Behavioral Health Division. Senior Vice President of Adult Behavioral Health Services Tinnesia Snyder states, “Congratulations to the ABH Impact Grant awardees. The donors who made these Impact Grants possible will allow the ABH Division to move closer to achieving its vision.”

ABH Impact Grant Recipients:

  • Russellton, PA – Recreational equipment for residents of the RISE long term structured residence in need of mental health support
  • Sharon Hill, PA – Technology and life skills education for those with mental illness and recovering from addiction
  • Newport, PA – Cooking and gardening classes for low-income adults with mental illness
  • Coatesville, PA – Farm therapy for homeless Veterans:
  • Wilmington, DE – Welcome bags for patients at the new Wellness Center at St. Francis Hospital
  • Philadelphia, PA – Winter clothing for adults facing homelessness and seeking addiction treatment
  • Philadelphia, PA – Fresh Start housing scholarships for consumers with substance use disorders and at risk of homelessness

The Merakey Foundation Impact Grants focus on projects that invest in transformative ideas and scalable solutions that support Merakey’s strategic initiatives. The Foundation’s Impact Grants are funded by generous donors and fundraising efforts of the Merakey Foundation. Each year, all three divisions will have an opportunity to apply for an Impact Grant.
