Robert Reaves serves as Merakey’s Vice President of Operations for IDD Services, bringing more than 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare and human services. He most recently held the role of Senior Executive Director for Merakey’s IDD Services in Philadelphia, where he led operational improvements, strengthened teams, and advanced service quality across the region.
Robert’s career includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for a multi‑state IDD provider, where he oversaw large‑scale operations and guided organizational growth. Known for his strategic mindset and hands‑on leadership style, he has deep expertise in organizational turnaround, financial management, and building high‑performing teams.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Widener University and a master’s degree in Administration of Human Services/Family Studies from Wilmington University. Robert is widely recognized for his unwavering commitment to people—both those receiving services and the teams he leads. His dedication, energy, and collaborative spirit make him a strong advocate for individuals and families and a valued partner across the Merakey community.
