Derrick Yacovelli is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Merakey. Formerly, Derrick served for seven years as Vice President of Financial Operations for NHS overseeing 40 fiscal analysts across the company. During this time, Derrick contributed significantly to the successful acquisitions of two major providers of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities with operating budgets of approximately $150 million. Prior to this position, he was the Director of Finance for the Eastern Region Division of NHS, which included Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, as well as Virginia, New Jersey, and Delaware. Before joining Merakey, Derrick was an Accounting Manager at Aetna, Inc. for five years overseeing primary capitation, dental capitation, pharmacy, pharmacy rebates, and administrative service agreements and run out business of previously acquired companies. Derrick also worked at Grant Thornton, LLP, specializing in providing services to human service companies.
With degrees in accounting and information systems, and his numerous years of experience at Merakey and the human services industry, Derrick has strong expertise with managing finance as it relates to existing and new business, annual budgets, and corporate entities.
