The Annual Halloween celebration at Merakey Stevens Center was a wonderful time, as students from the Merakey Education Center Hampden joined for a special Trick-or-Treat event. The spirit of Halloween was alive and well at the Stevens Center, as staff from our Adult Behavioral Health programs opened their doors to children dressed in creative costumes and excited for the festivities.

The students traveled throughout the program hallways collecting treats, showing off their Halloween costumes, practicing their skills and sharing special moments with staff. It’s amazing to see individuals of all ages come together to celebrate the season and build meaningful connections.

The day was filled with laughter, excitement and plenty of candy, but the true highlight was the sense of community on display. Participants from the ABH programs were thrilled to not just greet the children but help prepare by decorating the hallways. The enthusiasm and kindness shared throughout the event reflected the values that make Merakey such a special place to work!

Events like these demonstrate the positive impact that comes from bringing different Merakey programs together. A special thank you to the Merakey Stevens Center ABH staff and the Merakey Education Center Hampden team for making this event such a success! Your creativity, generosity and commitment to creating joyful experiences truly made the day unforgettable.

From superheroes and princesses to witches and ghosts, there was something for everyone to enjoy, reminding us that a little fun, a whole lot of teamwork and a shared sense of community can make a lasting difference. Thank you for putting your heart and soul into your exceptional work! Happy Halloween from Merakey Stevens Center and the ABH Programs!
