When window shopping turns into a surprise shopping spree, you can’t help but to be excited like our friend Chris! While on a community trip, a stranger came up to a couple individuals and staff and asked about Merakey’s programs. The kind stranger seemed very interested in the group and very moved by the work done at Merakey. The stranger then did something incredible – they approached the individuals and told them to pick out whatever shoes they liked at the shoe store, and they bought them all new shoes! Merakey participant Chris posed proudly for a photo with his new kicks!
