Merakey Student Wins Special Olympics T-shirt Contest

Each year, the Special Olympics holds a t-shirt logo design contest where individuals across all school districts can create their own logos displaying what the event represents to them. Each design has a chance to appear on the Area M Games t-shirt for the upcoming events! This year, Tyler, a student from Merakey Education Center Hampden was selected as the winner! His hand drawn logo will be featured on over 2,000 shirts at the Area M Games on April 24 and will be worn by all athletes, volunteers, and buddies. Tyler and his classmates were also rewarded with a pizza party and a private reveal of the t-shirt! Way to go, Tyler!
