Schuylkill Mountain Center Community and Residential Picnic

Merakey’s ABH Community and Residential Programs in Schuylkill Mountain Center, PA had a successful summer picnic at the end of July. This event was the start of community events/workshops that the team will be having at the Pottsville site. Every quarter, a support building get together is planned by members of the team, working together on the details. In the off months, the CPS program provides peers with personal medicine/life practices workshops to promote wellness and life skill training. Everyone enjoyed meeting new people at the picnic, eating delicious food, and playing backyard games – especially cornhole and spike ball. Thank you to everyone who joined in for some laughter and fun on a hot day. Everyone is looking forward to the next adventure at Knoebel’s Amusement Resort on Labor Day weekend. CPS Suzanne will be sharing a crafting project as her personal medicine at the next workshop this month. Here’s hoping this is the start of something great in Schuylkill County!
