On October 25, 2023, Merakey celebrated the opening of a new Education Center in Hampden Township, Cumberland County, and members of the community, school districts, invited guests, and the media attended the momentous occasion. The West Shore Chamber of Commerce joined with Merakey staff and students for the official ribbon cutting held at the entranceway to the Center.
The Education Center partners with families, school districts, and communities to provide safe and fun learning environments for children and young adults who have autism and other special needs.
