On May 20, the Merakey Foundation joined the Foster Care team to celebrate our foster families with an appreciation cookout. The afternoon was sponsored by the Higher Information Group and held at the Pavilion at Greystone Brew House in Dillsburg, PA.
Caregivers who have become foster families through Merakey’s Foster Care program were recognized and celebrated for their commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and their families during a time of need. The celebration specifically recognized:

Merakey’s Foster Care program helps youth find safe and loving homes when they cannot live with their own biological families. Through the program, Merakey identifies Foster Homes and connects them to youth who have been referred by state or county agencies across Pennsylvania. Thank you to all our Foster Care families who put their hearts and souls into changing lives through the Foster Care program!
