On September 13, the Merakey Parkside Recovery program in Germantown Philadelphia, participated in, and was a proud sponsor of the second annual Germantown Arts District Festival. This festival was created to highlight Germantown's growing art scene, supporting local artists and businesses. The festival was filled with a variety of art, culture, activities, and live performances that provided multiple opportunities for individuals to explore their sense of creativity and to build community. This included a mural that members of the community could paint during the festival. In addition to being a sponsor of the festival, Merakey was honored to provide the Germantown community the space to create and embrace the arts, having the mural take place right on our building in Germantown. At Merakey, we not only put our heart and soul into the exceptional care we provide to our individuals, but also within the communities we serve.
