On Tuesday November 25, the staff and students at the Merakey Hampden Education Center hosted a Thanksgiving themed lunch for 170 guests including: family, community members, school district representatives, and Merakey staff. The students and staff were very excited to help prepare and serve the food. The students participated in all aspects of planning, preparing, and serving the meal. They also helped decorate the school cafeteria for the event.
