In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month in May and surpassing 1,500 individuals served since opening last fall, Merakey’s Mental Health Walk-In Clinic in Philadelphia hosted its first community fair on May 30. The goals of the event were to raise awareness, recognition, and supports for individuals and families with mental health needs. The fair included free health screenings, food, music, giveaways, games and more. Thanks to the Merakey Foundation and Philadelphia radio stations 100.3 RnB and Classix 107.9 for partnering with the Walk-in Clinic on this special event.
