The management team for IDD Services located at Verree Road and the Recruitment Team led by Manager of Recruiting Terry Pittman, came together on January 25 for a meet and greet. The Recruitment Team received a tour of the site, enjoyed lunch together, and discussed opportunities and challenges each department deals with every day. After learning more about each department’s responsibilities, staff soon realized how significant their work impacts the individuals served and their coworkers. Conversations helped everyone to understand that having people skills is essential to working in this environment. At the end of the day, they agreed to hold in-person job interviews 2x/week and, began planning to host a job fair in March. It was a very successful day!
