The Merakey Penn Hills Community Participation Supports program offers a lot of meaningful learning opportunities for the individuals served. In the past few weeks, they focused on several themes that gave participants opportunities to learn using real-life, relevant examples. Activities, such as diorama creation (and friendly competition), science experiments, cooking classes, singing, and dancing were held! Participants also learned about Busch Gardens and Allegheny National Forest. Stay tuned for their trip to Hawaii!
