On September 9, The Slippery Rock Program Center held its Annual End of Summer Picnic at Grove City Park. After a hot and rainy summer, the weather that day was beautiful. Some individuals enjoyed watching the geese swim in the pond, while others enjoyed various activities such as a Tetris stacking game and a bean bag toss. Many enjoyed strolling through the park or swinging at the playground. A few participants decided to stay in the shade and play card games. Everyone enjoyed pizza and cupcakes for lunch, and all agreed that it was a wonderful way to say goodbye to summer.
