Music Therapy
Program Instructor Tunde Bosetti recently brought music therapy to the Edward J. Zapp Center, sharing a few songs and giving each individual the chance to hold and play a guitar. Jana especially enjoyed the experience. She sat beside Tunde, resting her hand on the guitar to feel the vibrations as Tunde played. When it was her turn to hold the guitar, she began gently picking the strings. As she grew more confident, she started strumming with enthusiasm.
Afterward, Jana asked, “Is the banjo just as difficult as the guitar?” Tunde explained that once you learn one stringed instrument, picking up others becomes much easier.
