Individuals from Merakey and many Merakey employees supported the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix at two fun events leading up to race weekend.

At the Sewickley Stampede & Roundup, Charity Ambassador Liz volunteered along with Senior Regional Executive Director Roni Erath and her husband John, Director of Finance Sue Klingensmith, and Development and Community Engagement Manager Amy Rocini. The Stampede was a street block party with both racing and exotic cars. The night began with a “Rev Limiting,” “Rip Roaring” Stampede Parade of Cars through the downtown business district of Sewickley followed by the “Wrangling and Staging” of cars in front of The Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina. Many thanks to the volunteers and Merakey Foundation Board Member Dorothy Pollon for swinging by to join in on the fun.

The Passport to Elegance Hanger Party was held at Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport. This year’s party was Ferrari themed and had people strolling through a faux country road lined with cars throughout the decades. Vintage airplanes created a backdrop to the exclusive party which had nearly 600 guests enjoying delicious cuisine and live music. Thank you to the many Merakey volunteers who helped to make the event a success!
