Team Bowling
The Program Administrators in Southern California recently had a fun bowling night. It’s always great to spend time together outside of work and share some laughs. This team truly brings their best to their jobs every day.
Kennywood Trip
Slippery Rock’s Family Living Program participants Mike, Kenton, and James brought their friend Bobby to Kennywood with them for the day. The guys had a great time riding the rides, playing games, and eating Potato Patch Fries. It was a beautiful day to spend at the park. Everyone returned home tired but happy.
Willow's Garden
Bobby from the Willow Acres SFR enjoys taking care of the garden. He likes to grow zucchini to make zucchini bread to sell at the Slippery Rock Program Center. Bobby takes great pride in his garden.
First Time Sauna
Janna had her first sauna experience, and it was a perfect fit for her, as warmth is one of her greatest joys in life. Leading up to her session, she learned about the various sensory benefits and how it could enhance her well-being. As someone who is both deaf and blind, Janna deeply appreciates experiences that engage her senses. She found the sauna to be a wonderful experience and expressed wishes to return. In addition to the sauna, she also enjoyed a relaxing massage with infrared lights and aromatherapy lotions, which added to the overall sense of calm and rejuvenation.
Black Tie & Tailpipes Gala
Folks from Merakey AVS geared-up for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix’s Race Weekend by attending the Black Tie & Tailpipes Gala at the Heinz History Center. They danced and mingled, while Liz helped to pull the winning numbers for the event raffles. Stop by Shenley Park this weekend for The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix’s Race Weekend on Saturday and Sunday. You’ll enjoy vintage races, car shows, vendors and fun for the whole family!
