Moonshot Museum
The Countryview gentlemen and staff recently visited the Moonshot Museum for an exciting and educational experience. The gentlemen watched a video about astronauts and space exploration, which they appeared to thoroughly enjoy. They also had the unique opportunity to observe professionals working on an actual space probe, giving them a firsthand look at the innovation and teamwork involved in space missions.
Kentucky Derby Event
Individuals and staff from Merakey AVS in Eastern PA had a fantastic time celebrating at their Kentucky Derby event! The day was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and festive Derby-themed decorations. Everyone embraced the spirit of the event, enjoying time with friends and making lasting memories together.
The staff joined the celebration, encouraging participation and helping create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for all. Events like these provide meaningful opportunities for connection, community, and shared joy. Thank you to everyone who made this special day such a success. Baby Bunny
Peron and staff at Merakey Cap Region IDD helped take care of a baby bunny that was lost outside their home. Peron and staff made it a little home and helped feed it.
FIFA World Cup Day
Individuals and staff at Verree Road were excited to participate in FIFA World Cup Day. Some wore soccer Jerseys from different countries and kicked the ball around with each other.
Wellness Wednesday
Wellness Wednesday celebrating America's 250th Birthday was a huge success. The group also celebrated all the individuals’ birthdays who attended the event. Everyone had a blast enjoying cupcakes, ice cream, and music. Sheila provided writing boards, glow sticks, and even a bubble machine. This group certainly knows how to party!
