Build-A-Bear
Individuals from Merakey AVS’s Philadelphia Campus enjoyed a special community outing to the mall where they spent quality time with their peers and had a blast creating their own personalized 'Build-A-Bear' companions. The Program Leads for each person collaborated to ensure the experience was fun, engaging, and memorable. A big shout-out to the dedicated Program Leads for organizing such a joyful event!
Slippery Rock Phipps Garden
A small group from Slippery Rock Program Center enjoyed spending the day at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh. Everyone loved seeing the different displays and enjoyed strolling through the conservatory.
Miracle League
Not even soggy spring skies could dampen the excitement on the field this week! On Wednesday, May 28, the Miracle League was in full swing as players from the Pittsburgh Campus, Nolte, and Robinson Smart Home hit the field. They were joined by a fantastic crew of volunteers from Archangel Gabriel School. At the end of the game, everyone gathered to sing “Happy Birthday” to Brandon from Robinson home.

Frick Museums
Kregg, James, Jonathan, Keith, along with staff members Christian, Wendy, and Jamie from Wildwood home visited the Frick Museums and Gardens in Pittsburgh, where they enjoyed the art, history, and the beautiful grounds.
Keystone Safari
A small group from Slippery Rock Program Center visited Keystone Safari. Mark really enjoyed petting the miniature cow, while Matt and Sean liked feeding the giraffe. Everyone had a great day interacting with the animals.
A Night to Remember
Genny, Cierra, Wendy, Kevin, Lisa, Darlene, Jenny, and Teresa dressed to impress and danced the night away at the 'A Night to Remember' Prom, held at Discovery Church in Mars, PA on May 18.
