Out for Ice Cream
Janna and Liz from Oakhaven home have been enjoying the spring weather with a recent trip to Cookie Cookie Ice Cream for a sweet treat.
Toy Store Visit
Darlene, Teresa, Jenny, and Lisa from Ewings Mill II home at Merakey AVS visited Playthings Toy Store in Butler, PA. The spaceship-shaped store features aisles of interactive toys to play with. The ladies had a BLAST!
Pittsburgh Attractions
Cierra and Wendy from Notle home along with DSP Jenna have been busy with visits to the Heinz History Center and National Aviary in Pittsburgh.
Art Auction
The residents at Merakey AVS on Verree Road in Philadelphia participated in an Art Auction. This event was coordinated by the program department, led by Ms. Francis Leggit, Program Instructor. The residents enjoyed bidding on artwork created by staff working at the Verree Road location. The event was an exciting social activity that created lasting memories, full of smiles and laughter. Be on the lookout for the next social activity from the Program Department.
Riverfront Flag Park
Billy, Anthony, Jason, and Lucas from Windy Ghoul home spent the day at Riverfront Flag Park in Rochester, PA. Billy was excited to see the river up close, while Anthony admired the bridges. Jason and Lucas took in the atmosphere and loved every part of the trip.
