Painting With a Twist
At the Kennedy Program Center, a unique and heartwarming event unfolded as individuals in classroom 3 were invited to participate in a "Painting with a Twist" experience, where creativity flourished alongside mocktail concoctions. Guided by program leader Lisa Coleman, this inclusive event allowed participants to explore their artistic talents, as they painted vibrant canvases while enjoying non-alcoholic beverages crafted to suit everyone's tastes. The mocktails, ranging from fruity blends to refreshing sodas, added a fun and interactive element to the afternoon, making the experience even more enjoyable. It was an afternoon of self-expression, relaxation, and community, where participants not only tapped into their creativity but also celebrated the joy of coming together in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Andy Warhol Museum
Many groups have been enjoying visits to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. The ladies from Crestview home had fun painting, feeling braille, touching balloons and eating lunch in the café. The guys from Windy Ghoul home loved exploring the rooms and exhibits.
