Jonathan from Wildwood home had a fantastic time playing games and enjoying a delicious meal at Dave & Buster's in Pittsburgh.
A Slippery Rock Program Aide led her group in a lava lamp experiment. They filled jars with water, added food coloring and olive oil at the top. The group discussed which liquid was heavier: oil or water? They waited to see which liquid would float to the top. Finally, they added pieces of Alka Seltzer tablets to the water. The group was amazed at the lava lamp effect. It was a great sensory experiment.
