This Thanksgiving, leadership from IDD programs in San Marcos, CA took a moment to appreciate their incredible team. Regardless of title or position, everyone plays a vital role, and together, they rise to the occasion for the benefit of their clients. It's the dedication, collaboration, and mutual respect among each of them that makes all the difference.
Regional Director Carly Adams thanks Karly Marriott for hosting the team and Michelle Cozad for organizing the games and gifts. Additionally, she thanks her amazing colleagues for their hard work, commitment, and spirit of teamwork. Carly also welcomes new staff members Kristen Mouzas, RN, WCC, Judith Getter, RN and BCBA Tedi Teabout. Wishing the team in Southern California a wonderful holiday season filled with gratitude and joy.
Over the past couple of weeks, Slippery Rock Program Center has been sending small groups to see the displays at Kraynak’s Lawn and Garden in Hermitage, PA. It is one of the most popular community outings. They enjoyed picking out their favorite displays, doing a little Christmas shopping and, of course, seeing Santa.
Slippery Rock Program Instructor Danielle Mitchell took her area to Coffaro’s in Slippery Rock to go bowling. After bowling a few games, everyone enjoyed a couple slices of pizza.
Individuals and staff from Merakey AVS’s Pittsburgh Campus enjoyed a Fall Fancy Dance at the gym, which was decorated with festive leaves and fall décor. Everyone was given a corsage as they arrived, and the group spent the day dancing with their friends.
Cierra, Genny, and Wendy from Nolte enjoy visiting Pittsburgh attractions like Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, and the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium.
The ladies from Ewings Mill I home at Merakey AVS were filled with holiday cheer as they visited the Christmas Café in Youngstown, OH.
The gentlemen at the Branchton SFR in Slippery Rock recently received a visit from Minnie. Minnie is a Shih Tzu puppy who belongs to House Manager Jamie Surrena. The guys loved cuddling and playing with Minnie. All of them had huge smiles and were happy after the visit.
