Helping the Salvation Army
Individuals from the Slippery Rock Program Center have been giving back to the community by ringing the bell and taking donations for the Salvation Army at the Giant Eagle in Slippery Rock. They signed up for several days and take turns in two-hour shifts. Heather said, "It feels good helping others. I like ringing the bell!" Bobby enjoys it so much, he did it for the whole day. He didn't want a break.
Congrats Debbie
Congratulations to Debbie Peter for celebrating 35 years of service at Merakey on November 29! She began as a Direct Support Professional at the Woodhaven campus in Philadelphia. She rose through the ranks and was most recently instrumental in the successful moves of the individuals into their own homes in the community. She now serves as a Program Manager in the Community Living Program.
Congratulations to Deb on 35 years – we are grateful for your service!
