Happy 37th Merakey Anniversary, Karen Marshall! Karen is one of the foundational members of the Merakey Clinical Team. As a Clinical Specialist, she and teammates Astrid Berry, Ceil Keitel, and Robyn Cheskiewicz traveled around NEPA, SEPA, and Central PA training staff and managing clinical crises. Karen is now the Clinical Director for Central PA and Northeastern PA and is the manager of group supervision. She continues to be the rock of the Clinical Team and her team is looking forward to having a big celebration for her 40th Anniversary.
Jonathan from Wildwood, Jessica from Malcolm, and staff members Christian and Mindy recently cheered on the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. Everyone had a fantastic time as they watched the team beat the Montreal Canadiens.
Merakey team members recently gathered to celebrate at Clinical Director Judi Maradin’s retirement party. Judi was thrilled to have her clinical team colleagues from Pittsburgh, Slippery Rock, and Southwestern regions of PA in attendance. She received a large celebration in the gym where over 125 staff and individuals gathered to say goodbye to her. One special guest was Behavior Specialist Christian Bughar, who Judi hired. Christian is a former top scoring college basketball star and was recently promoted from a Direct Support Professional. Judi, thank you for an incredible 40 years of service at Merakey!
