The ladies from Lower Shingle Memory Care Home at the Pittsburgh Campus spent an afternoon at the Pittsburgh Zoo. They had a blast visiting the animals, face painting, having lunch, and treating themselves to Dippin’ Dots for dessert. Assistant House Manager Clarice had shirts made for everyone that said "All the Shingle Ladies" with their names listed on the back. What a fantastic day!
It was an exciting night for participants Dwayne, Rory, and Roger from Grove City home as they watched the Italia Gold Show Circus. They especially liked the music and performances by the acrobats.
Participants Elizabeth, Janna, and Tess at Oakhaven home spent a sunny afternoon planting with friends and family at their house. Janna planted herbs that she is excited to use in her meals. Tess loved making sure the new flowers were all watered, and Liz got to know some of the family members at her new house. Thank you to House Manager Shala for coordinating this great day of planting and a special lunch!
