In November of 2018, Jon Leese and Randy Janney wanted to help a child in need and possibly adopt. Less than a month later they received a call on the day after Christmas for an emergency placement of three sisters. Jon and Randy immediately fell in love with all three children, and they were so happy to give them a home. The couple stated that the first three weeks of having the kids was the hardest, being this was their first placement. But, once a routine and structure were in place, things ran a lot smoother. The girls had a goal of reunification and Jon and Randy took them to all their visits with their bioparents. In October of 2020, parental rights were terminated, and the adoption process began. Six months later, on May 14, 2021, the three girls found their forever home and the adoption was finalized. Jon, Randy, and the three girls have created a beautiful family together. Both Jon and Randy’s families have fallen in love with the girls as well and are so happy they have joined the family. What a wonderful outcome!
