Through a generous donation from the Merakey Foundation, annual zoo passes were given to Merakey foster families at our various offices in Pennsylvania to celebrate Foster Care Month this past May. The zoo days were held on June 18 at the Philadelphia Zoo, June 27 at ZooAmerica at Hershey Park, and July 16 at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. Foster families and Merakey staff gathered to enjoy the days together. Families were appreciative of the fun days and donation from the Foundation. The Foster Care program is planning more zoo days in the fall.
