We are proud to celebrate Pittsburgh Campus Assistant Health Services Supervisor, Dr. Laurie Swift, on earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Carlow University on May 10.
She began her career with Merakey AVS in 1994 as a Shift Supervisor at Dinner Bell Road following the facility’s acquisition. In 1995, she transitioned to the Pittsburgh Campus, where she served as a House Manager for over a decade. During that time, she pursued nursing education and earned her RN. In 2007, Laurie became the Assistant Health Services Supervisor and has since continued her academic and professional growth, earning both her BSN and MSN.
