Merakey’s IDD programs in the Capital Region held their annual Christmas party on December 20 for the individuals in residential, family living, and home and community habilitation programs. Individuals participated in small group activities that included eating cookies, making crafts, singing, socializing and of course, a visit from Santa! They also received balloon creations made by the Zembo clowns, who graciously donated their time to be part of the event. The gifts for the individuals were bought by volunteer staff within the IDD program and the staff from the Crums Mill Road administrative office. Everyone had a great time!
